stablished in the year 1988 in Vadavathoor, 5 KM from Kottayam, the “Land of Letters“, Kottayam Dairy was constructed with fair intention of ensuring “Socio-economic progress of Dairy Farmers of Kottayam District through consumer satisfaction”. To achieve this goal, it served the interest of consumers in Kottayam District by providing quality and safe milk and milk products.

At present, Kottayam Dairy procures milk from farmers through some 26 Bulk Milk Coolers installed in various parts of the district.

Various products manufactured are milk in pouches (4 varieties), Curd in pouches, Sambharam in pouches, Ghee, Set curd, Yogurt etc.

Started in 1988, Kottayam Dairy handles 75,000 litres of milk, 8000 litres of curd, 1000 Kgs Ghee per day all of which constitute a turnover of Rs. 191 crores

Kottayam Dairy is committed to encourage milk production in order to supply safe, nutritious and excellent Quality Milk and Milk products to consumers. In this endeavour, we have adopted world class Food Safety Management System and uses latest processing technology to enhance consumer satisfaction of our produce and which in turn will improve the socio-economic condition of the farmers

Kottayam Dairy’s manufacturing facilities are certified with Food Safety Management System- ISO 22000:2018 and Quality Management System- ISO 9001:2015 to ensure Food Safety and Quality at every stage, from farm to consumer
