ERCMPU is giving the following technical inputs to enhance milk production and to support DCS.

The Union has 8 veterinary service units and 1 decentralized veterinary units through which around 8000 veterinary emergency cases are attended every year.

 Ernakulam Milk Union has established 118 artificial insemination centers in the societies, by training the DCS staff and providing them the cryocans and A.I accessories under the NPCBB programme. These centres carry out around 80000 artificial inseminations every year.

 Cattle feed is made available to APCOS. About 3000 MT of cattle feed is sold by the APCOSs every month

 Heifer Adoption Programme: Female calves with good pedigree are collected and given cattle feed at 50% cost up to the age of first calving
