Established in the year 1987 in Ramavarmapuram, 6 KM from Thrissur, the “Cultural Capital of Kerala “, Thrissur Dairy was constructed with the fair intention of ensuring “Socio-economic progress of Dairy Farmers of Thrissur District through consumer satisfaction”. To achieve this goal, it served the interest of consumers in Thrissur district by providing quality and safe milk and milk products.
At present, Thrissur Dairy procures milk from farmers through some 27 Bulk Milk Coolers installed in various parts of the district.
Various products manufactured are milk in pouches (4 varieties), Curd in pouches, Sambharam in pouches, Kattimoru in Bottles, Ghee and Butter etc.
Started in 1987, Thrissur Dairy handles one lakh litres of milk, 10,000 litres of curd, 2500 Kgs Ghee and 800 litres of Kattimoru per day all of which constitute a turnover of Rs. 191 crores
Thrissur Dairy is committed to encourage milk production in order to supply safe, nutritious and excellent Quality Milk and Milk products to consumers. In this endeavour, we have adopted world class Food Safety Management System and uses latest processing technology to enhance consumer satisfaction of our produce and which in turn will improve the socio-economic condition of the farmers
Thrissur Dairy’s manufacturing facilities are certified with Food Safety Management System- ISO 22000:2018 and Quality Management System- ISO 9001:2015 to ensure Food Safety and Quality at every stage, from farm to consumer
